The SDM-S204 20.1-inch LCD display is designed to replace conventional 21-inch CRTs for applications demanding extended resolutions and the very best image quality. Typically this could mean architectural and engineering CAD, video editing, digital still imaging, software development and scientific modeling. The SDM-S204 has numerous features that distinguish it from the mass of LCD displays, including UXGA (1600 x 1200) native resolution and both analogue and digital signal inputs. UXGA yields a 1.9 megapixel image, or put another way, two-and-a-half times the working area available from a standard XGA (1024 x 768) resolution display.
The presence of analogue and digital inputs gives users choice, future proofing, and the flexibility to use more than one machine with the monitor. Although the monitor has automatic signal type detection and state-of-the-art automatic image adjustment, it also offers comprehensive manual controls. The 10-language OSD (on screen display) menu contains full image geometry and color tuning facilities designed to meet the most exacting requirements. In addition, the Advanced Eco-Mode feature allows users to select rapidly between brightness settings to get the most comfortable level.
